报告题目:Exponential Decay for Lions-Feireisl's Weak Solutions to the Barotropic Compressible Navier-Stokes Equations in 3D Bounded Domains

报告摘要:In this talk, we consider the compressible Navier-Stokes equations in three-dimensional (3D) bounded domains, we prove that any finite energy weak solution obtained by Lions [18] and Feireisl-Novotn´y-Petzeltov´a [6] decays exponentially to the equilibrium state. This result is established by both using the extra integrability of the density due to Lions and constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional just under the framework of Lions-Feireisl’s weak solutions.

报告人简介:施小丁,北京化工大学数理学院教授,主要从事非线性偏微分方程的研究工作,在非线性双曲守恒律方程组、可压缩流体力学方程组及其相关问题等方面做出了一系列工作,相关论文发表在CMP , IUMJ, SIAM, Nonlinearity, JMFM,JDE等学术杂志。
